Kat Yao is a designer and illustrator. On the side, she writes stories through images (aka comics). She likes warm colors, tactile materials and craft fairs, conversations about storytelling, and community-building. 

Currently living in the PNW and making things at Literati. Previously made work at 826 Valencia, Insight Editions, and Chronicle Books.
